Is there golf near the new developments in and around Estepona?
42 of the 86 developments here give a distance to a golf course. The nearest are Eagle Hills Estepona (the golf course, on the doorstep), Birdie Hills (the golf course, on the doorstep) and Sunny Golf (Estepona Golf clubhouse, 5 minutes on foot). Each development’s page lists what is near it.
Can you get a garden with a new build in or around Estepona?
37 of the 86 developments here have homes with a garden of their own. The cheapest on the developers’ lists is a two-bedroom ground-floor apartment with 21 m² of garden at Alonia Manilva, €316,000.
What I actually know about Estepona
- Estepona averages €4,307/m² (2026), the coast’s fastest-rising market, up ~11–12% a year.
- Estepona old town is one of the most walkable historic centres on the western coast.
- Murals and plazas run through a compact, pedestrian old quarter.
- 55–70 minutes from Málaga airport along the A-7.
- There is no railway in Estepona. Coaches from the airport take about 70 minutes, and a coastal line is still at the study stage.
- El Paraíso lies partly in Estepona and partly in Benahavís, so a building plot there can fall under either town’s plan.
- The far-western coast — I work it by appointment rather than weekly.
- Estepona has its own high-resolution hospital with a 24-hour emergency department, and uses the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella for admissions.
