WhatsApp Michael →The lowest-priced home, a two-bedroom apartment on the ground floor, works out at €4,134 per built square metre. Fuengirola’s average asking price was €4,451 a square metre in 2026 on idealista’s figures, so this new home in the town centre comes in about seven per cent below it. Its small private patio, 4.45 square metres on the developer’s list, is not counted in the area the price is divided by. The price table for the area is on the Fuengirola & Mijas Costa page.
Calle Independencia 5 is a single building of eight homes on a quiet, largely pedestrian street in the middle of Fuengirola. Every home has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room open to the kitchen, and the homes measure between 65 and 76 square metres built. A lift runs from the ground floor up to the penthouses. The two apartments on the ground floor each have a small private patio, the four on the first and second floors each have a terrace over the street, and the two penthouses on the top floor have a smaller terrace set into the roof.

The outer walls are two layers of brick with an insulated air gap between them, which keeps out heat and noise. Soundproofing brick separates each home from its neighbours and from the staircase.
Stoneware tiles run through every room, with non-slip tiles on the terraces. The living room and bedrooms are plastered smooth and painted, and the kitchen and bathrooms are tiled in glazed ceramic under a lowered plaster ceiling. The entrance hall and the staircase are finished in natural stone.
PVC windows and balcony doors with double glazing, and shutters on the bedroom windows. The balconies on the front have balustrades of safety glass. Each home has a wooden security door, white lacquered doors inside, and built-in wardrobes with sliding doors in the same finish.
Both bathrooms have a large shower tray, a basin set into a vanity unit and a toilet, with taps from the Monojet range.
Every home is prepared for ducted air conditioning. The ducts run through the lowered ceilings, ready for the indoor and outdoor units to be fitted.

In the centre of Fuengirola, between the town hall and the seafront promenade, and a short walk from the station at the end of the train line to Málaga airport.
Calle Independencia 5 is being built, and the developer estimates handover for December 2027. The reservation is €10,000, taken off the 20 per cent that falls due when the private purchase contract is signed, which the developer expects within fifteen days. A further 10 per cent is due when the structure is finished and another 10 per cent when the outer walls are complete. The remaining 60 per cent is paid when the title deed is signed before a notary. IVA is added at 10 per cent.
While the building goes up, I help you compare the plans, work through the reservation and the private contract with your lawyer, and check the finished home with you before the deed is signed.
Get in touch and I will talk you through it. Buying with me sets out how I work.
What the basement under the building will hold, whether a parking space or a storeroom can be bought with a home, and what the community fees will be. I will ask the developer on your behalf and send you the answers.
Thanks for reaching out.
I’ll be in touch shortly — usually the same day.
