The lowest-priced home, a four-bedroom villa, works out at €5,063 per built square metre. Mijas averages €3,684 a square metre on idealista asking prices for 2026, a figure drawn mostly from apartments and older townhouses on the coast and in the hills. A finished contemporary villa at La Cala Golf, with a basement, a roof terrace and its own infinity pool, is priced well apart from that average, and the built area includes the basement and garage. The price table for the area is on the Fuengirola & Mijas Costa page.
What is being built
Tree Villas is a set of three contemporary villas on a slope beside La Cala Golf, the resort of three golf courses in the valley behind La Cala de Mijas. Each is laid out over a basement, two main floors and a roof terrace, with four bedrooms and five bathrooms in 552 square metres built. There are almost no load-bearing walls inside, so the rooms are open and the living spaces run straight out through walls of glass to the terraces and the pool. The roof is a terrace in its own right, with room for a pergola, seating and a hot tub, and the views run across the valley to the mountains.

The specification
What comes with every home.
Heating, cooling and fresh air
An air-source heat pump runs the ducted air conditioning, the hot water and underfloor heating on water in every room. A ventilation system brings in fresh air and recovers the heat from the air it takes out. Solar panels on the roof add to the supply.
Kitchen
Fully fitted, with Siemens appliances: two ovens, one of them a combination oven, an induction hob with a Bora extractor built into it, a dishwasher and a wine cooler. A sliding partition closes the kitchen off from the living room or leaves the two open.
Floors and walls
Keraben porcelain in 90 by 90 centimetre tiles throughout the house and on the roof terrace. The outside walls are built in two layers, brick and concrete, with insulation, and finished in white render.
Bathrooms
The main bathroom has both a shower and a bath. Toilets are wall-hung, by Geberit and Starck, the taps are black, by Tres, and the mirrors are lit.
Windows and doors
Cortizo aluminium frames with a thermal break, which stops the cold crossing the frame, and large sliding glass walls onto the terraces. The front door is armoured and pivots on its centre, 2.7 metres tall. Inside, the doors are lacquered with concealed hinges, the wardrobes are lit, and the balustrades are glass.
Pool and garden
A private infinity pool of 13 by 3 metres, lined in porcelain and filled with salt water. The garden is watered automatically, and a 7,500 litre tank collects the rainwater.
Security and connections
Video surveillance, a video entry phone, Wi-Fi throughout and cabling ready for a home automation system. LED lighting inside and out.
Garage
A garage reached by a private drive, with a charger for an electric car.

For the finished villa that means a full inspection with you and a check of the licence to occupy before any money moves. For the two still being built, it means reading the bank guarantee on your stage payments and following the work through to the checks before you take the keys.
