Idealista’s 2026 asking prices put Estepona at €4,307 a square metre across the whole municipality. Homes on the front line of the beach, finished to this standard, trade at several times that figure, so the town average says little about this building. Atelier 4 is a finished residential building on Playa del Cristo, the sheltered beach just west of Estepona marina. It is also marketed as Ikkil Bay. Each type of residence was designed by its own interior studio, and the terraces are large, some with their own small pool or jacuzzi. The homes share a spa, a gym, an indoor pool and an infinity pool that looks straight over the sand.
Shared between the homes
Underfloor heating runs on hot water through the home, with electric underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The air conditioning recovers heat as it runs, and a ventilation system brings in fresh air while keeping the warmth of the air it replaces.
Lighting, blinds, heating and cooling, music and a cut-off for water leaks are run from one system. Speakers are built into the rooms, with surround sound in the lounge, and there is Wi-Fi throughout.
Large marble slabs in the living areas, hardwood in the bedrooms and non-slip marble on the terraces.
Wall-hung toilets, Dornbracht taps, and a freestanding bath in the main bathroom. Each home has a water softener and a self-cleaning filter.
Aluminium windows with slim frames and a thermal break, an insulating strip that stops heat and cold passing through the metal. The glazing is double and controls the heat of the sun. The entrance door is armoured.
The outer walls are built in two layers with insulation in the cavity, and the walls between homes are soundproofed.
Terraces are floored in marble and decking. Depending on the design, they have a small pool, a lounge area and a gas fire.
