Horizon 36: new build apartments in Fuengirola from €599,000
Two and three bedroom apartments · Complete
from €599,000Before IVA
Two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses in a finished building at El Higuerón, on the hills above Fuengirola with the sea in view. The penthouses each have a private roof solarium, from €599,000.
The lowest-priced home, a two-bedroom penthouse on the second floor, works out at €7,503 per built square metre. Fuengirola averages €4,451 a square metre on idealista’s 2026 asking prices, and most of what makes up that figure is older apartments in the town itself. The rate here is worked out on the rooms inside alone. On the penthouses the terrace and the private roof solarium together cover as much ground again as the rooms, and none of that outside space is counted in it. The price table for the area is on the Fuengirola & Mijas Costa page.
What is being built
Horizon 36 is 36 apartments and penthouses at El Higuerón, on the hillside above Carvajal at the eastern edge of Fuengirola. The building is finished. The homes are set around a long communal pool with a timber deck and lawns, and look out toward the sea, with the mountains behind. Garden homes on the ground floor open onto a lawn of their own. The penthouses have a terrace off the living room and a private solarium on the roof, reached by its own stair. Every home comes with two parking spaces and a storeroom.

The specification
What comes with every home.
Windows and doors
Lacquered aluminium frames that hold in heat, double glazing that also cuts noise, and safety glass wherever a pane could be knocked. Every room except the bathrooms opens through sliding glass doors, and the bedrooms and living room are wired for motorised blinds. Doors inside are smooth lacquer, 2.10 metres high, with rubber seals so they close quietly.
Wardrobes
Built in, sliding or hinged, lacquered outside and lined inside, with a hanging rail and drawers.
Floors
Porcelain tiles 75 centimetres square through the whole home, with the bathroom walls partly tiled.
Kitchen
Tall and low units under a Silestone or similar worktop, with appliances rated A or better: ceramic hob, oven, microwave, extractor, fridge, dishwasher and washer-dryer.
Bathrooms
Wall-hung toilets with the cistern built into the wall, extra-flat shower trays with screens, and Teka or similar taps. The main bathroom has two basins over a cabinet, and the second a wall-hung unit with drawers.
Heating, cooling and hot water
Air conditioning that heats and cools the bedrooms and the living room, and hot water, both from an aerothermal system, which takes heat from the outside air rather than burning gas. The bathrooms have electric underfloor heating.
Power and safety
Smoke and flood detectors that can be linked to a phone app, a video entry phone, and television points in the living room, the bedrooms and out on the terrace.

Nothing is left to build. After the reservation, the purchase moves to a private contract and then to the deed at the notary, where the keys are handed over. Prices on the developer’s list are before IVA.
Because the homes are finished, I can go through the one you choose with you, room by room, and confirm with the developer that the licence to occupy it has been issued. What we find on that visit goes into the offer I make on your behalf.
Get in touch and I will talk you through it. Buying with me sets out how I work.
