The 55 apartments and penthouses of Idilia Aire stand above the rest of the Idilia development, on a hillside that faces the sea. The buildings are terraced into the slope, which gives most homes a deep terrace with a view over the coast, and the penthouses add a sun deck on the roof. The two and three bedroom homes each have two bathrooms and a kitchen open to the living room. Heating runs under the floors, and hot water comes from an aerothermal system, which draws its heat from the outside air. The shared grounds hold an adult pool, a children’s pool, landscaped gardens, a play area, a gym and a room for bicycles.

Buying this as a new build
Construction has started, and no handover date has been published yet. Buying now means choosing from the plans and the renders, and Spanish law requires every payment made before the keys to be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. The prices shown are before VAT, which is 10 per cent on a new home.
With the building still going up, I go through the plans with you to compare floors, terraces and views, since the outlook changes as the buildings climb the slope. I read the guarantee on your payments with your lawyer, and when the apartment is finished I inspect it with you before the deed is signed.
